Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Who we are

Think Wild Media is a trading name of Sarlam Media Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 793477). “We”, “us” and “our” in this policy mean Sarlam Media Limited trading as Think Wild Media.

We are the controller of the personal data we use to run this website, handle enquiries and creator applications, and manage our business. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@thinkwildmedia.com.

This policy covers www.thinkwildmedia.com, enquiries, creator applications and sourcing, and our influencer marketing, content production, social media management and creative strategy services. On some client projects we act as a processor under the client's instructions; the client's privacy notice then also applies, and some requests may need to go to the client.

2. Information we collect

  • Enquiries. Our contact form asks for your full name, email address and company or brand. You can also add a website or social profile, the service you're interested in, budget, timeline and project details. We also receive what you send us by email.
  • Call bookings. If you book a discovery call through Calendly, we receive your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers or notes you add.
  • Creator applications and sourcing. Names, contact details, social handles, portfolios, CVs, experience, availability, rates and relevant audience or engagement information. We may also find professional information on public creator profiles and websites, or receive it from agents, referrals or clients. When we contact you using information we didn't get from you, we tell you how we'll use it.
  • Clients and suppliers. Business contact details, correspondence, contracts, invoices, payment records, approvals and information needed to deliver agreed work.
  • Production and campaigns. Photos, video and audio recordings, identifiable appearances and voices, releases, creator briefs, approved content, social account permissions and campaign performance data, depending on the project. Please don't send us sensitive personal information we don't need.
  • Website delivery. Our hosting and media providers receive technical information needed to serve and secure the site, such as IP addresses, browser details, the pages and files requested, and when. Section 11 explains which website tools are active.

3. How we use it and our legal bases

  • Replying to enquiries, holding booked calls and preparing proposals: steps you ask us to take before a contract, or our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
  • Assessing applications and finding suitable creators: our legitimate interest in sourcing and managing professional relationships, or steps before a contract that you request. We take your reasonable expectations and rights into account.
  • Delivering projects and managing agreements: performance of a contract where you are a party, or our legitimate interest in delivering services where you represent another organisation.
  • Recording, editing and publishing identifiable content: depending on the project, consent, performance of a contract or legitimate interests. We explain the use and basis through project-specific notices and permissions before we start. Signing a release does not remove your data protection rights.
  • Accounting and legal records: our legal obligations.
  • Security, preventing misuse and legal claims: our legitimate interests, or legal obligations where they apply.

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Marketing

Sending an enquiry or application doesn't subscribe you to a newsletter. We may reply and follow up about your request or a relevant opportunity. We only send promotional emails where the law allows, asking for consent where required. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing hello@thinkwildmedia.com. We may keep a minimal record so we respect that choice.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only where relevant and necessary: with authorised team members, production suppliers, clients or brands involved in a project, professional advisers and service providers. With appropriate explanation, creator profiles or portfolios may be shared with prospective campaign clients. Approved content is published to the audiences and channels agreed for the project.

The service providers we currently use for our website and communications are:

  • Vercel: website hosting, delivery and security.
  • Sanity: content management and website media. Some videos and images load directly from Sanity's content delivery network, which receives your IP address and request details.
  • Resend: delivering contact-form enquiries to our inbox.
  • Calendly: booking discovery calls. See “Booking a call” in section 11.
  • Google Workspace: business email, communication and project files.

Contact-form enquiries are emailed to us through Resend; they are not stored in a website database or in our content management system. Copies remain in our mailbox and may remain with the email provider under its own retention arrangements, and our hosting providers may keep technical logs.

We may disclose information where the law requires it or for legal proceedings. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers and authorised production contractors may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Contractors outside the EEA receive only the footage and project information needed for their work. They do not have access to website enquiries or creator applications.

Any transfer of personal data outside the EEA must rely on a lawful mechanism, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional measures where required. To ask about the safeguards that apply to your data, email hello@thinkwildmedia.com.

7. How long we keep it

  • Unsuccessful enquiries: up to 12 months after our last substantive communication, unless the enquiry becomes a client relationship or a specific legal need requires longer.
  • Unsuccessful creator applications, CVs and portfolios: up to 12 months after the application decision or our last substantive communication about an opportunity.
  • Client and supplier records: for the relationship, then only as long as accounting, tax, contractual or legal requirements need.
  • Footage, edits and releases: according to the project's purpose, agreed usage period, delivery and backup needs, and any period for legal claims. We explain project-specific arrangements where relevant.
  • Technical logs: according to our providers' security and operational settings.

When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten in the normal cycle and are not used routinely.

8. Creators and participants under 18

Our services are aimed at businesses and professional creators. We normally accept creator applications from people aged 17 and over. Where an engagement involves someone under 18, we involve a parent or legal guardian and obtain appropriate permissions before contracting, filming or publishing. Projects involving younger participants need a separate assessment and suitable arrangements before they go ahead.

We give age-appropriate information and consider the young person's own wishes and rights. A parent's permission does not by itself authorise every use of a child's data or replace other requirements. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been provided or used inappropriately.

9. Security

We use appropriate organisational and technical safeguards, including access restrictions and reputable service providers, but no online service is completely secure. The required contact-form fields let us identify and reply to you; without them we can't process the form. All other fields are optional.

10. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email hello@thinkwildmedia.com. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month and will explain if we need to extend this as the law allows.

You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie or another competent supervisory authority.

12. Tools we may use in future

We may add some of the tools below to measure the website or run advertising. None of them are installed as of 29 October 2026. This list explains what they would be used for. It is not a substitute for updating this policy.

Google Analytics

Category: Analytics

Purpose: Measuring how the website is used, such as visits, pages viewed and enquiries started.

Data involved: Pages viewed, interactions, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, and identifiers stored in cookies.

Google Tag Manager

Category: Depends on the tags it loads

Purpose: Managing and loading other website tags in one place.

Data involved: Technical request information. Whether consent is needed depends on the tags it deploys; tags for optional categories would only load after consent.

Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag

Category: Marketing

Purpose: Measuring advertising, recording conversions such as enquiries, and showing relevant ads to past visitors (retargeting).

Data involved: Pages visited, actions taken, device and browser details, IP address and advertising identifiers, which the platform may link to your account with it.

Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar

Category: Analytics

Purpose: Understanding how people use pages to improve them, through heatmaps and session recordings.

Data involved: Clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, page interactions, and device and browser details.

Google Maps

Category: Assessed when added

Purpose: Showing location information.

Data involved: An embedded map sends your IP address and device details to Google and may set cookies. A plain link to Google Maps shares nothing until you click it.

CRM, newsletter and messaging providers

Category: Not a website cookie category

Purpose: Managing enquiries, client relationships and communications, including newsletters you sign up to.

Data involved: Contact details, correspondence, enquiry history and subscription preferences. Newsletters would only be sent where the law allows, with consent where required.

Before we activate any of these, we will review it, update this policy with the actual provider, purpose, data, cookie or storage names, lifetimes and any international transfers, and ask for your consent where required. Optional tools will stay blocked until you allow their category. If a new provider or purpose materially changes what we have described, we will ask for your choice again.

13. Other websites and changes

Links to social platforms and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. We update this policy when our practices change; the latest version and its date are always on this page.

Your cookie preferences

No optional analytics or marketing providers are currently active. Your choices apply to tools we may add after updating our policy, and we'll ask again if new tools materially change how your data is used. The booking calendar on our Contact page is provided by Calendly, which manages its own cookies.
